AN ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE, NOT A SCREENSHOT ILLUSTRATIVE FIGURES — THE SUBSIDIARY IS 80% OWNED, TRANSLATED FROM INR MONTH BY MONTH
Ledgers: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books and TallyPrime, mixed freely in one group.
Reporting currencies, on European Central Bank rates fetched every day.
Cash forecast, with the lowest point and the first week below your minimum.
Entries posted to your books. Halfkit reads your ledgers and never writes to them.
MONTH END, BEFORE
The books were fine. The workbook wasn't.
BEFORE
Each company's P&L is exported and pasted into one consolidation workbook.
Intercompany balances are hunted down by hand, and one side never matches.
Exchange rates are looked up and typed in, month by month.
The board pack is assembled the night before it's due.
WITH HALFKIT
Each ledger connects once, and its reports arrive without an export.
Halfkit suggests the intercompany pairs and eliminates both sides in one click.
Rates are fetched daily and kept as monthly averages. Nothing to type in.
A PDF board pack goes out on the day of the month you choose.

USD '000 ILLUSTRATIVE FIGURES
No exports and no spreadsheets to stitch. Halfkit reads reports straight from each company's accounting system, in the cloud or on the desktop, and shows its working in an eliminations column on every report.
- 01 Connect QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books over OAuth, in any Zoho data centre. Tally through a small Windows sync agent on the PC that runs it.
- 02 Group Name a holding company, add its subsidiaries and set how much of each it owns. Mix all four ledgers in the same group.
- 03 Eliminate Accept the pairs Halfkit suggests, matched on names, wording and amounts, or mark accounts yourself. A parent account takes its sub-accounts with it.
- 04 Report The consolidated P&L by company or by month, and the balance sheet. If one side of a pair doesn't match, the report says so before the board does.
02 — CURRENCY & OWNERSHIP
Report in the currency your board reads.
Choose INR, USD, GBP, SGD, EUR or CAD. The P&L is translated month by month and the balance sheet at the reporting month's rate, and a Currency Translation Adjustment line keeps the consolidated balance sheet in balance.
- 01 Rates you don't type in European Central Bank reference rates are fetched every day and kept as monthly averages. A rate you enter yourself always wins.
- 02 Own 80%? Report it that way. Totals stay in full, as in an IFRS 10 consolidation. Net income is split between owners of the parent and non-controlling interests.
- 03 Different names, one line "Sales" in one company and "Revenue from operations" in another? Halfkit suggests a shared line; accept one or all.
- 04 See which month moved A month-by-month P&L with the change from the month before, side by side.

03 — CASH & PLANNING
See the tight week before it comes.
Starting from today's cash, Halfkit builds the next 13 weeks: customers' invoices come in on their due dates, supplier bills go out on theirs, and you add what's planned, like payroll, rent, loans and tax. For a company or a whole group.
- 01 The lowest point, named Set a minimum and the forecast shows the lowest point and the first week below it, with its assumptions listed.
- 02 Planned items, once Add a payment once, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Very overdue invoices count at a collection rate you set.
- 03 Groups without double counting For a consolidated group, intercompany parties with matching names are left out of the forecast.
| Cash today | 412.0 |
|---|---|
| Customers pay in | +618.4 |
| Bills & payroll go out | (702.9) |
| Lowest point · week 7 | 148.6 |

Schedule III, straight from Tally or Zoho.
The statutory balance sheet and statement of profit and loss under Schedule III (Ind AS, Division II), for one company or the consolidated group.

- 02 Lakhs or crores, with comparatives The previous period alongside, in the units your auditor expects, and an Excel export.
- 03 Tally, without the exports The sync agent sends month-end ledger balances and open bills daily. No vouchers leave the PC.
- 04 Pay in rupees Indian companies can pay in INR through Razorpay.

05 — CLOSE THE MONTH
Locked, and in the board's inbox. On the day you choose.
The full set, with a first draft.
Ask for a plain-language summary of a P&L, balance sheet or cash flow statement. Summaries use prepaid credits.
A paragraph for the pack.
Board packs can carry a short AI commentary on the month. It's off unless you switch it on.
Nothing runs on its own.
Figures go to the AI provider only when you request a summary or turn on commentary. Every report works the same without it.
